Harvest Festival: Many thanks to everyone who kindly donated to the Harvest Festival; the congregation was, as usual, very generous. Urban Outreach and The Destitution Project were very grateful for the kind donation of food, which was delivered to them the day after the Harvest Festival. We also received £434.69 in donations, and this will be shared equally between Urban Outreach, The Destitution Project and The Salvation Army. Once again, many thanks for your kindness. The Stewards.
Communion Steward: We are looking for a Communion Steward to join our small team to prepare the elements for communion, assist in directing the congregation on a Sunday morning and clearing up after the service. Communion services are usually the first Sunday in the month with very occasional additional special services. If anyone feels that this is something they could do, please have a word with either Sheila Nelson or myself and we can explain what is involved in more detail. Thanks, Ann Massey and Sheila Nelson Communion Stewards.
