At New Youth we follow Bible passages, discuss and explore how we can apply these to our everyday lives.
Katia Mazini has been appointed as our Youth Development Worker commencing in September and is hoping to develop a Youth provision in midweek.
We have games and activities and enjoy quizzes based on Biblical themes. New Youth is generally very well attended, with up to ten joining us weekly. At All Age Worship, New Youth read in church or lead prayers.
One weekend at the end of October last year ten young people from The Triangle and four from other churches in Bolton, along with Jo, our Circuit Children's and Youth Pastor, attended 3 Generate, the children's and youth assembly held at the NEC in Birmingham. Young people came together from across Britain to share in fun, fellowship and to hear the word of God in several different ways. They got a lot out of the experience and had a really good time too.
New Youth sessions are led by Margaret Jackson, ably assisted by Martin Wagner and others.
