The ABC (Adults, Babies Children) started at the beginning of the year. We felt there was a demand for a pre school group where Mums could come with their little ones and meet other Mums , and their toddlers can play with other children.
We meet every Friday during term time only 10.00 - 11.30am, free play, activities (paint, play dough etc) drinks and healthy snacks for the children during the session, ending with story time and music time when they chose an instrument, each child chooses their favourite nursery rhyme to sing.
Mums or grandparents get chance to relax and chat to other mums over a cup of tea, and lots of friendships have developed over the twelve months both with children and adults.
One Grandparent said to me that that it was so peaceful, relaxed and lovely to see all the children happily playing, and mixing.
