Prayer Ministry — what does it involve? This is something we have offered before, and the Stewards and Rev’d Kasema have asked Faith & Worship to consider starting it again. After morning worship, there will be a brief opportunity to respond to the message or to bring situations for prayer. Faith & Worship supports the idea, but we need a team of volunteers who could help about once every four weeks. If you may be interested, or would like to know more, please speak to Estelle B. or Brian S. We need volunteers before we can make further plans, so please let us know over the next few weeks. If you feel you cannot pray aloud with or for others, you may still be able to help. Please talk to Estelle or Brian.
Games Evening is cancelled for August and will resume in September.
Mary is 101! Many of you will remember Mary Robinson, who is now 101. I visited her this week, and she sends her love to everyone.
Thank you to Peter, Robert, and the Mission and Outreach Group for organising the Solar Eclipse Party. It was a great success.
