Prayer Ministry — what does it involve? This is something we have offered before, and the Stewards and Rev’d Kasema have asked Faith & Worship to consider starting it again. After morning worship, there will be a brief opportunity to respond to the message or to bring situations for prayer. Faith & Worship supports the idea, but we need a team of volunteers who could help about once every four weeks. If you may be interested, or would like to know more, please speak to Estelle B. or Brian S. We need volunteers before we can make further plans, so please let us know over the next few weeks. If you feel you cannot pray aloud with or for others, you may still be able to help. Please talk to Estelle or Brian.
Solar Eclipse: Come and join us on Wednesday 12th August to view the Solar Eclipse together at Doffcocker Lodge! There will be information and display material available in the annexe, our own resident expert to answer your questions, plus activities and refreshments. Special “eclipse glasses” will be available for safe viewing, and you will be able to watch the eclipse “on screen” - for even safer viewing. Come along any time between 6 pm and 8 pm, but the maximum amount of eclipse is anticipated to be at 7.10 pm. Let’s hope for a cloudless sky and a great evening !
It would be a help if you could sign up on the sheet in the foyer if you are intending to come. Thank you.
