The Bereavement Cafe, due to start on Monday 22nd June, has been postponed due to staffing problems. Joyce Read.
Next year’s (2026-27) Methodist Prayer Handbook is now available to order. The theme is “Sorrow - Joy”. Our prayers share in the sorrow and joys of our lives, churches and communities across this world. The Handbook contains the details of the Methodist lectionary for a daily reading, psalm and hymn, along with material and pointers for prayer for each day of the month. Our final Faith Food Fellowship meeting of the season: will be on Wednesday, 15th July. Brian will be taking names this Sunday and again on Sunday, 12th July. Our speaker will be Rev. Alan Saunders, vicar at St Peter’s, Halliwell, who will share reflections on this year’s theme: ‘My Faith, My Way: My Two Favourite Bible Stories’.
