Help Needed: Can I please appeal for help with morning coffee on Sundays and during the week in the coffee lounge. We are a very busy church and community outreach, and both need manning. Whatever time you have to give would be really welcomed. Please think and pray on what you can help with and have a word with Joyce Read this morning. Thank you.
Quiet Day at Hying: St. John’s Quiet Day is on Thursday, 4th June at Hying Monastery, led by Reverend Sarah Hooks. The fee is £33.00, (includes beverages and lunch). Please let me know if you’re interested. Thank you, Estelle Buckley.
Recruiting Stewards: We have an excellent team of Stewards, and we are keen to recruit more. The 'job' is not onerous and the larger the team the less each needs to contribute. New Ageing Well Group: We were asked to start up a new Ageing Well group at St Johns which has begun today. This also means that some spaces have opened up at the Triangle groups due to some people moving across.
The sessions we now run are:
- Every Monday, St Peter's Halliwell, 10am, 11am and 12:30 pm
- Every Wednesday, St John's Horwich, 12:30pm
- Every Friday, The Triangle Annexe, 1pm and 2pm
So, there are currently some vacancies at every session.
Please invite people to come along or tell their friends. They can always ask me if they want any further details. Alison Davies
