Sunday's Streamed Service

On this fourth Sunday in Lent we seek Reconciliation.

Leader: We have turned away.
We have remained separate.
We have refused your friendship,
All: We repent and say sorry.

Leader: When we are tempted,
All: to be thoughtless in recognising you
to be less that grateful for your loving care
to be wayward in acknowledging you to others

Leader: Remind us Jesus, that we can serve you now,
All: we can reach out with love
we can pray for peace
we can be reconciled to you. Amen

To remind us of our Reconciliation we now place the symbol of the Bowl and Towel at the foot of the Cross..

We now sing verse 4 of Hymn 287. The words are on the screen. Please remain seated whilst we sing.

His dying crimson, like a robe,
spreads o'er his body on the tree;
then am I dead to all the globe,
and all the globe is dead to me.
