Sunday's Streamed Service

On this first Sunday in Lent we offer our Repentance.
Please join in with the words in bold type.
Leader: We have been selfish.
We have not thought of other people's need.
We have not always looked to the general good.
All: We repent and say sorry.

Leader: When we are tempted,
All: to be wasteful to be greedy to be selfish.

Leader: Remind us Jesus, that we can look with your eyes,
All: we can change we can share
we can make a difference. Amen.

To remind us of our repentance we now place the symbol of the Bread and Chalice at the foot of the Cross.

We now sing verse 1 of Hymn 287.
The words are on the screen.
Please remain seated whilst we sing.

1 When I survey the wondrous cross,
on which the Prince of Glory died,
my richest gain I count but loss,
and pour contempt on all my pride.
