The Triangle Community Methodist Church is holding our Annual Toy Service on Sunday 30th November (1st Sunday in Advent). This is organised throughout Bolton by the Lions Club of Bolton. Christmas Dinner on Jesus: The Triangle Community Methodist Church is again supporting the Urban Outreach Christmas Dinner on Jesus. This year we are collecting and donating a minimum of 250 200g jars of Cranberry Sauce. Please add 1 or 2 jars to your weekly shop and put them in the collection box in the Coffee Lounge.

In past years, the incredible generosity of our community has allowed them to reach thousands of homes, but this year they are working with fewer staff, limited funds, and less space to store and prepare hampers. That means they won’t be able to reach as many people as before and need your help to make sure each hamper goes where it’s needed most. They are asking us to think carefully about who we nominate to be blessed with a Christmas Dinner on Jesus hamper.

Please prioritise those for whom Christmas truly feels “on hold” this year.

Perhaps you know:

• A family who can’t stretch their budget to include a Christmas meal.
• Someone recovering from illness or caring full-time for a loved one.
• A neighbour or colleague who’s recently lost their job or home.
• An older person facing Christmas alone after a big change in their life.
• A person or family whose circumstances mean that, this year, Christmas just isn’t possible.

Your insight and compassion help ensure every box reaches someone who needs it most. Thank you for taking the time to consider your nominations carefully.

Nomination forms will be available as soon as they are made available, with a closing date of 30th November.
