We were blessed with yet another uplifting service given by Hilary today. As it was the 2nd Sunday in Advent the service started with the advent liturgy and the lighting of the candles.

During the service we were also treated to a prayer written and read by one of our younger members Robin Jones.

It was also the Toy Service and many toys were received with much gratitude by the Bolton Lions who were going to distribute them locally.

The communion was held at the start of the service so that Junior Church could leave early to rehearse their nativity. During the communion two hymns were played which reflected the communion taking place and were quietly observed by all.

The Bible reading for the day was Malachi 3 v 1.4 and Luke 3 v 1-6. Hilary spoke of the reading in Malachi and advised us later that afternoon to sit and read the Chapter of Malachi. The thought provoking sermon given by Hilary gave us all something to take away and think about in the coming week. A very moving service enjoyed by us and we hope everyone else.

At this special time of year we can all count our blessings for a wonderful Church, our Minister Hilary and the Church Family at The Triangle.
