Service Review (2): 30th July 2017

What an interesting and amusing and thoughtful service was given by Revd. Peter Haywood. His life, outlined to us all has not been all plain sailing, the death of his first wife in her 30s left him with three young children to bring him up ,his marriage to the baby sitter has proved very happy now 40 years on with the addition of a son.

Robert,, who has known him all his life, spoke about him being an inspiration to him and I agree with Robert there is a sincerity about Peter that makes you want to hear more.

The involvement of the children in his 'mind reading' talk had some of the grown ups on the edge of seats and his jokes were all well received.

It was a very well rounded service that made you feel better about life and better for having listened to a man who left you with no doubts about God being with Always with us.

Kindly written by Jo Farris.

Kids' Holiday Club Review

After saying a prayer all the children tucked into hotdogs, crisps followed by chocolate chip pancakes a penguin and drink, coming back for more till everything had gone.
