Service Review: 26th March 2017

The Mothering Sunday service was led by Mr Peter Holland. The service started with the Lent Cross Liturgy was led by Chloe and Sam Fountayne.

It was lovely to have Annie Scowcroft do the opening prayers with Brian. After Peter did his children's talk the children handed out flowers to all the Ladies in the church which was very special. Followed by the song God loves in which the children had their flags.

An enjoyable part of the service was the video presentation of Johns Gospel chapter 9 'The man born blind' Peters talk was very informative and talked around this passage.

One section he was talking about God's offer of acceptance, forgiveness and wholeness.

The sermon was followed by a lovely song and one of my favourites, 'Just as I am'.

To end the service we sang 'Tell out my Soul'.
