Service Review: 22nd January 2017

This Sunday was the Covenant Service. It was a wonderful, special service.

The service was led by our own Rev Hilary Howarth. After the call to worship we sang 'Only by grace can we enter,' which was a wonderful start to the service. Hillary then gave an explanation of the Covenant service.

We had readings from Exodus, Jeremiah. Romans and Mark during the service.

The sermon was very thought provoking and very good.

The songs fitted so well into the Covenant service and made you think deeply about what the covenant you were making actually meant. During the service there was the Commissioning of the Pastoral Friends 'followed by the 'Covenant 'part of the service.

The children came back into the service during the peace and we then had communion as a church. It was lovely and special to use the communion rails.

The service ended with the hymn 'And can it be'. A lovely service.

Kindly written by Mandy Atkinson.

Service Review: 19th Nov 2017

The theme of the service was ‘What if John came to the Triangle today’, and after the welcome by our own minister, Hillary Howarth, and she opened the service with hymn number 264 in Sing the Faith ‘Make way, make way’ and it was sung with gusto and enthusiasm.

We then welcomed our first guest John the Baptist! Not THE John the Baptist but our own Glen dressed as John the Baptist preparing the way for the Ministry of Our Lord, Jesus the Son of God. Glen played a fantastic part and the throwing of the balls was enjoyed by all.
