Good morning and we are delighted that you are with us today. We hope you find your time of worship helpful and uplifting. This morning Revd. Hilary Howarth is leading our morning Worship and will include Holy Communion.

After the service, the Baptism of Oliver Raye Polland, son of Ross and Coral will take place. We invite you to stay and support Oliver’s family as we welcome him into our church family.

Thoughts & Prayers

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ann and Trevor Massey and family on the sad loss of Ann’s Dad who passed away on Sunday 30th July.

Also to Renee Meredith’s daughter Heather and family, who passed away suddenly on Sunday at Glen Bank Residential Home at the age of 99. Renee was formerly a member of Delph Hill.


If you have any concerns or worries and you would like someone to pray with you after the service, please let Hilary know.

Red Bucket Appeal
The money raised for North West Air Ambulance during the last three months was £41.46, thank you for your generosity.

Water Aid Harvest Appeal
During August, September and October we are raising funds as usual for Water Aid Harvest Appeal, more details on the notice board. Sheila Richardson

Coffee Lounge
We have a thriving coffee lounge that welcomes everyone Monday - Friday 10.- 2.30 it is manned by a brilliant team of volunteers but we need more help. Do you think you could help one day a week or one day a fortnight? It is a major part of our outreach and involvement with the community - please think seriously if you could help. If you would like more details have a word with Joyce Read.

BBQ At St. James Catholic Church
Johnson Fold at 12.00pm on Sunday 20th August. Everyone welcome to come along. Food is being served at 1.00pm. If you are going please could you sign the sheet in the foyer so we can let our friends at St. James Church know how many to cater for. Are there two volunteers who are willing to help with the BBQ?

Service Review: 19th Nov 2017

The theme of the service was ‘What if John came to the Triangle today’, and after the welcome by our own minister, Hillary Howarth, and she opened the service with hymn number 264 in Sing the Faith ‘Make way, make way’ and it was sung with gusto and enthusiasm.

We then welcomed our first guest John the Baptist! Not THE John the Baptist but our own Glen dressed as John the Baptist preparing the way for the Ministry of Our Lord, Jesus the Son of God. Glen played a fantastic part and the throwing of the balls was enjoyed by all.
