Christian Aid Week
Our total collected for this year's Christian Aid Week was £739.52 of which £253.10 was gift aided. The total exceeded last years by £160.Thanks to everyone who contributed in the church Collection, door to door envelope distribution and collection and those who made cakes or gave to the church Café collection. Body Shop Fundraiser
Tuesday 13th June the Brownies and rainbows invite you to a body Shop fundraising event in the Annexe, 6.00-7.30pm. All monies raised will go the Triangle Church. Sally Kenyon.
Summer Holiday Club
Our Summer Holiday Club will be open on Monday 24th July 31st, August 7th, 14th and 21st 10.00am-12.00pm.
St. Peter’s are holding a Holiday Club beginning the week of 14th-18th August which are children are invited to but you will need a booking form, these will be available nearer the time for you.
St. James are inviting us to a family BBQ on Sunday the 20th August at 12.00pm. This is the first of some events we are looking at as churches together.
250 children are fed free of charge by Urban Outreach on Johnson Fold during the summer holidays at St. Andrews on Tattersall Avenue. They desperately need help to do this and are asking if anyone from the Triangle would offer to help give out meals. It can be a one-off volunteering or as many days as someone is able to offer. It is from 10.00am to 12.00pm and need 4 volunteers each day. Please see either Estelle or David if you can help, thank you. Hilary.
Can you Help Urban Outreach?
Volunteers are needed to put labels on lunch bags for the children ready for the Summer Lunches. If you would like to help (they can be done at home) please see David or myself for some bags and labels after the service this morning. Thank you, Estelle Buckley.
Party In The Park Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to cover the stall for Party in The Park on Sunday 25th June. Please see Stuart Whittle if you can spare an hour to man the TRIANGLE STALL on the day.
Today our friends at The Baptist Church, Eden Street, Astley Bridge warmly invite you to join them for their traditional Sermon’s Sunday service. Afternoon tea will be served at 4.15pm followed by the evening service at 6.00pm. The speaker is Revd. Alan Pierce, former chaplain of Canon Slade.
