Praying Together
Tuesday 10.00am -10.30am. Please consider joining us, if only occasionally, in this time of prayer. You don’t necessarily have to pray out aloud - silent prayer and listening are also important.

Urban Outreach
Mon-Fri 25th July – 2nd September (except Bank Holiday 29th August) 7:15am – 8:30am We need lots of volunteers to come and make up to 1500 packed lunches each morning!! If you can help, we would love to see you at: Unit 1 Trinity Retail Park, Springfield BL2 1HY - It’s the former Comet, next to Jump Extreme, opposite Toys R Us.

Membership Classes
Hilary will be doing membership classes for those who would like to formally be a member of the Methodist Church or transfer their membership from another denomination. These will be on Wednesdays during August - 10th, 17th and 24th - from 7.00-8.30pm. If you would like more information before committing yourself, please speak to Hilary on 291698.

CPR and Defibrillator Certificates
The following people are now trained in CPR and the use of the Defibrillator which lives on the inside wall as you go through the door into the Coffee Lounge. They are Peter Haslam, Colin Nelson, Ruth and Norman Parker, Lorraine and Norman Lowe, Mavis Taylor, Kath Powter, Margaret Thompson, Mandy Atkinson, June Tweedley, Rita Wood, Brian Smith, Jane Crofts, Lauren Lane and Estelle Buckley.

Bored during the school holidays?
Nothing to do? Frazzled by the children during the break? Come along to the Annexe on a Monday morning between 10 – 12pm for board games, crafts, spend time with your mates or chance to have some adult company over a cup of tea or coffee.” No charge. For the next four Mondays from 10 – 12pm we're opening up the Annexe for children with their parents/carers to come along and do something different during the holidays. If you can volunteer some time or a morning, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Speak to Hilary (291698) or Estelle (413664).

DESPERATELY needed
Offer of board games, garden games, parachute etc. for use in the Annexe during the school holidays.

Disciple Course
Our next Disciple course "Introduction to the Old Testament" will be starting in September on Monday mornings and evenings for 8 weeks. If you are interested, please will you sign the list in the porch so the books (approximate cost £10) can be ordered in plenty of time. If you would like to do the course, but the cost is prohibitive, please speak to Hilary. Closing date - 31 August.
