Craft Fair
On Saturday 18th November we are hosting a Craft Fair. The coffee lounge will be open and we are serving drinks pasty and peas and homemade cake. We are asking if anyone can make a cake - we would like it to be just home-made cakes rather than shop bought as that is what we are advertising. If you would be willing to make one can you please let Joyce Read Margaret Thompson or Lorraine Lowe know. Thank you Joyce Read.

Chaos Coffee Morning
It's on Saturday 4th November from 10-11.30 and is for anyone who has recently started coming to church. Although people can drop in at any time, or stay for the whole time, during the morning Hilary will talk about the church, what we do etc, invite questions, give a little of her background but it's an opportunity for people to find out more about us. Hilary.

Posada
POSADA is a Spanish word meaning “inn”. It is a celebration that started in Mexico where two young people were chosen to dress as Mary and Joseph and travel from house to house during the Advent asking for a room for the night, and telling of the imminent arrival of Jesus. They arrive back in Church on Christmas Eve. The modern equivalent is based on this concept but enables people to give their Nativity Figures, Mary and Joseph, a different home each night during Advent, symbolising making room for Jesus. The figures travel round the church family being welcomed and passed on each night. Refreshments and fellowship are offered each night by the hosts. They are returned on Christmas Eve at the service and welcomed back. We are hoping to start this at the beginning of Advent December 3rd and if you would like to take part please sign the form in the foyer today, closing date the 12th November. If you have no transport and would like to take part please let us know and that will be arranged for you. Thank you, Hilary.

Volunteers
Four volunteers are needed to help at Johnson Fold Pensioners Party on Saturday 9th December. If you feel you can help please let me know, Estelle

Service Review: 19th Nov 2017

The theme of the service was ‘What if John came to the Triangle today’, and after the welcome by our own minister, Hillary Howarth, and she opened the service with hymn number 264 in Sing the Faith ‘Make way, make way’ and it was sung with gusto and enthusiasm.

We then welcomed our first guest John the Baptist! Not THE John the Baptist but our own Glen dressed as John the Baptist preparing the way for the Ministry of Our Lord, Jesus the Son of God. Glen played a fantastic part and the throwing of the balls was enjoyed by all.
