Friday 7.30pm. Tickets £5.00 including pasty available from Elsie Halligan or the Social Team. We would be grateful for any items that we could use as raffle prizes.

Mission Together
A celebration of the mission work taking place in all the churches of our Circuit to be held at Trinity Methodist Church, Tonge Fold on Sunday 26th November at 6.00pm. Each church will be provided with a table so that they can set up a display, demonstrating the different ways they engage in mission. Trinity will be open from 3pm for those bringing items for the exhibition (please use the side door for access to the church hall). Everyone is invited to bring food to share for tea, which we'll enjoy between 4pm and 5.30pm, giving everyone the opportunity to chat, share, look at each church's display. Tea and coffee will be provided. The Christmas Angels will be blessed before they are sent out.

Advent 2017 Prepare the Way
Begins on Monday 27th November at 7.30pm and for the next three Mondays. The first one is “The Saviour promised long ago”. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Christmas Dinner on Jesus
If you know of anyone or any families who you would like to nominate please let either Hilary or Estelle know and we will pass their names on to Urban Outreach. Closing date is the 8th December.

Lantern Parade
Saturday 2nd December 6.30pm at St James Catholic Church round Johnson Fold Estate (about 45minutes walk) and back to the church where the Christmas lights will be switched on. Stewards are needed to help with this and if you feel you can help please meet at St. James for 6.00pm for briefing.

An Evening At St. James
On the 6th December we've been invited to an evening at St James at 7.00pm

Service Review: 3rd Dec 2017

Advent is the first season of the Church year, leading up to Christmas, and it includes the four preceding Sundays. This morning was the first service of Advent and it was led by the Revd Hilary. It was also this year’s Toy Service.

To Christians, Advent is the coming or second coming of Christ and the service began with the Advent liturgy led by Church Stewards, Jamie Blatchley and Glennys Astley.
