Good morning and we are delighted that you are with us today. We hope you find your time of worship helpful and uplifting. This morning Revd. Ian Smart is leading our All Age Worship and is continuing our Theme on Heroes /Heroines “David”.

Thoughts & Prayers

Our thoughts and prayers are with Marilyn, Derek, Janet, Richard Sutcliffe and family on the sudden death of Geoff last Sunday 8th. October. The funeral is next Thursday 19th October 2.15 pm at church then on to Overdale at 3.15pm.

Action for Children
There will be a Coffee morning on the October 26th 10.00am-12.00pm. Stalls will be Cakes, Books, Bric- a -Brac and a Raffle. All proceeds going to Action for Children. Audrey Tavener.

Craft Fair
On Saturday 18th November we are hosting a Craft Fair. The coffee lounge will be open and we are serving drinks pasty and peas and homemade cake. We are asking if anyone can make a cake - we would like it to be just home-made cakes rather than shop bought as that is what we are advertising. If you would be willing to make one can you please let Joyce Read - Margaret Thompson or Lorraine Lowe know. Thank you Joyce Read.

Kids Holiday Club
The Kids Holiday Club is on Monday 23rd October at 10.00-12.00pm. Come along and join us for a fun morning, see you then. All ages welcome.

Sliding About: Pbones
Following on from our great drumming workshop last year at church, this year we've asked, "Sliding about" to come and lead a fun workshop with "Pbones", which are plastic trombones and great fun. For anyone and everyone over the age of 6, this is on Saturday 11th November from 2pm till 4pm and is £8 for adults and £5 for children or a reduced price for families. Please book with Susy Martin or Margaret Thompson. I will also show a video of them on 22nd October to show what they do. Hilary.

Chaos Coffee Morning
It's on Saturday 4th November from 10-11.30 and is for anyone who has recently started coming to church. Although people can drop in at any time, or stay for the whole time, during the morning Hilary will talk about the church, what we do etc, invite questions, give a little of her background but it's an opportunity for people to find out more about us. Hilary.

Service Review: 19th Nov 2017

The theme of the service was ‘What if John came to the Triangle today’, and after the welcome by our own minister, Hillary Howarth, and she opened the service with hymn number 264 in Sing the Faith ‘Make way, make way’ and it was sung with gusto and enthusiasm.

We then welcomed our first guest John the Baptist! Not THE John the Baptist but our own Glen dressed as John the Baptist preparing the way for the Ministry of Our Lord, Jesus the Son of God. Glen played a fantastic part and the throwing of the balls was enjoyed by all.
