Music Group Rehearsal
There will be a Service of Admission for Local Preacher Philippa Hill on Sunday 20th August at 6pm at St. Helen's Road. The service will also include the presentation of a Long Service Certificate for 60 years to Olwen Baker.
At St. James Catholic Church, Johnson Fold at 12.00pm on Sunday 20th August. Everyone welcome to come along. Food is being served at 1.00pm. If you are going please give Stuart your name today so we can let our friends at St. James Church know how many to cater for. This is a joint event with Hope Centre, St. James and ourselves and is free as the three churches are covering the cost, but if you would like to give a donation towards it please see Sheila Richardson.
We have a thriving coffee lounge that welcomes everyone Monday - Friday 10.- 2.30 it is manned by a brilliant team of volunteers but we need more help. Do you think you could help one day a week or one day a fortnight? It is a major part of our outreach and involvement with the community - please think seriously if you could help. Helen Close has just returned from the West Bank and she is coming to the Triangle on Monday 4th September at 7.30pm to talk about what daily life under occupation is really like, what the Israeli peace movement is doing and what can we do to promote a just peace in Israel-occupied Palestine.
