Thoughts & Prayers
Our thoughts and prayers with Revd. Gilbert Braithwaite and family on the loss of his wife Carol, who died suddenly on Friday 1st September. The funeral will be at Claremont Methodist Church Wallasey in about two weeks when Roger Stubbins returns from holiday.
Harvest Festival September 17th.
This year we are supporting two Charities, Fortalice and Urban Outreach. Fortalice, who provide refuge for women and children from abusive relationships, need dried goods e.g. tins of soup or vegetables, packets of tea bags, rice, cereal, pasta, noodles that can be distributed to the residents. As an alternative, envelopes will be provided to make a money donation to Urban Outreach - these can be Gift Aided.
DON’T FORGET TO VOTE FOR THE SUNFLOWERS.
Today is the last chance, posters of sunflowers are in the foyer, put number on raffle ticket and pop into voting box. Winner to be announced next Sunday.

AB group are meeting on Tuesday 19th and is open to anyone who would like to be a part of a fellowship group as we plan for a “network “of groups. Further details from Hilary or Brian. The subject on the 19th will be marriage.
Food Faith and Fellowship
Our next Food Faith and Fellowship is on Wednesday 20th September at 6.30pm when the theme is Hero / Heroine continues, our speaker will be Sue Snowden will be talking about” Ruth”. This is an open invitation to everyone and if would like to join us for the meal please let Joyce Read know after the morning service.
Invitation to Harvest Supper
The Annual Harvest Supper is being held on Saturday 23rd At Hope Centre (St. Andrew’s Church) Tattersall Road and we have been invited to go. If would are interested please could you let Hilary or Estelle know as possible for catering. Thank you, Hilary.
All Together Now
Tuesday 10th October, 10am-3pm at the Triangle Community Methodist Church. All Together Now explores what it means to be an intergenerational Church community. It helps you to think intentionally about being a Church. It reflects on theory as well as practice and you will also have the opportunity to see intergenerational ministry in action.
Pizza and Movie Night
The Pizza and Movie Night will now be on Sunday 17th September in the Annexe at 6:00pm, we will be watching the film Stardust (PG) and ordering from Domino's pizza. If you would like to come, please get in touch with Chloe.
