Thoughts & Prayers

Our thoughts and prayers with Revd. Gilbert Braithwaite and family on the loss of his wife Carol, who died suddenly on Friday 1st September. The funeral will be at Claremont Methodist Church Wallasey in about two weeks when Roger Stubbins returns from holiday.

Harvest Festival September 17th.
This year we are supporting two Charities, Fortalice and Urban Outreach. Fortalice, who provide refuge for women and children from abusive relationships, need dried goods e.g. tins of soup or vegetables, packets of tea bags, rice, cereal, pasta, noodles that can be distributed to the residents. As an alternative, envelopes will be provided to make a money donation to Urban Outreach - these can be Gift Aided.

DON’T FORGET TO VOTE FOR THE SUNFLOWERS.
Today is the last chance, posters of sunflowers are in the foyer, put number on raffle ticket and pop into voting box. Winner to be announced next Sunday.
