Kids Holiday Club

Half term soon comes round and the kids Holiday Club met up again on Monday.

Everyone enjoyed themselves including helpers. There were various activities available for all ages, games, jewellery making, colouring and making paper chains, which everyone enjoyed having a go at.

We ended the morning session by playing with the parachute causing lots of laughter from the little ones up to the adults as they tried to keep the ball on the parachute. Sandwiches crisps , cake and a drink were provided by the volunteers in the Café, thank you girls. (It was Hilary's birthday, so we had a cake and sang Happy Birthday to her.)

Thank you to everyone who helped and look forward to the next holidays.

Do Nothing To Change Your Life

Call to worship: Jesus said “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Spiritual de-clutter

Les has always said that when I die on my grave stone it’s going to say “She cluttered!” I do clutter it’s quite true. I don’t like to throw things away and I’m the magpie that collects everything because you never know when it will come in useful! Everything can be turned into a sermon illustration!
