Holiday Club Review: Monday 14th August

Another busy morning the children came running in and soon found an activity they wanted to do. Some drew round their hands and then the adults cut the shape of their hand in felt.

Others made bookmarks, bracelets ,colouring playing with toys on the floor and the older ones played table tennis over in the Annexe whilst their parents and carers had a cup of tea and talked to other parents.

Of course we rounded the morning up with the parachute which the younger ones love and then a song followed by pizzas for lunch which soon disappeared off the plates.

The morning went very fast and everyone went home happy , some taking a hat to decorate and bring back next week for a competition that is taking place at Urban Outreach.

Spiritual de-clutter

Les has always said that when I die on my grave stone it’s going to say “She cluttered!” I do clutter it’s quite true. I don’t like to throw things away and I’m the magpie that collects everything because you never know when it will come in useful! Everything can be turned into a sermon illustration!
