Good morning and we are delighted that you are with us today. We hope you find your time of worship helpful and uplifting. This morning Mr. Jim Hodgkinson is leading our morning Worship.

Christmas Angels
Please could all those who have been knitting the Christmas Angels let us have them for the 19th November, ready for the Mission Together Service on the 26th November at Trinity Church where they will be displayed on our Mission Table, blessed and sent out.

Quiz Night
Friday 24th November at 7.30pm at Astley Bridge Cricket Club. Tickets £5.00 including pasty available from Elsie Halligan or the Social Team. We would be grateful for any items that we could use as raffle prizes.

A Fun Afternoon for JMA Supporters
Saturday 25th November 2.00-4.00pm at St. Andrews, Tonge Moor Rd BL2 3 BJ. A presentation will be held for all who have contributed to JMA this year. Included is awards, refreshments, festive crafts and an opportunity to learn about the world church and celebrate JMA. Christmas Dinner on Jesus
If you know of anyone or any families who you would like to nominate, please let either Hilary or Estelle know, and we will pass their names on to Urban Outreach. Closing date is the 8th December.

Advent Challenge is on its way! Will you join us again to bring the Bible to life each day of Advent? Like last year, we'll send you three practical, biblically-inspired challenges each day. Service Review: 19th Nov 2017

The theme of the service was ‘What if John came to the Triangle today’, and after the welcome by our own minister, Hillary Howarth, and she opened the service with hymn number 264 in Sing the Faith ‘Make way, make way’ and it was sung with gusto and enthusiasm.

We then welcomed our first guest John the Baptist! Not THE John the Baptist but our own Glen dressed as John the Baptist preparing the way for the Ministry of Our Lord, Jesus the Son of God. Glen played a fantastic part and the throwing of the balls was enjoyed by all.
